Groundwork Wyoming County is a group of citizens working to form an incorporated non-profit organization that will clean up Wyoming County, remediate and redevelop Brownfield's, create or improve parklands, work with youth, and improve the quality of life for residents and tourists.  The mission of GWWC is the shared mission of the Groundwork USA Network:

"To bring about the sustained regeneration, improvement and management of the physical environment by developing community-based partnerships which empower people, businesses and organizations to promote environmental, economic and social well-being. "
